* | t/: Use "test_must_fail git" instead of "! git" | Stephan Beyer | 2008-07-13 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch changes every occurrence of "! git" -- with the meaning that a git call has to gracefully fail -- into "test_must_fail git". This is useful to - make sure the test does not fail because of a signal, e.g. SIGSEGV, and - advertise the use of "test_must_fail" for new tests. * | Ignore dirty submodule states during rebase and stash | Johannes Schindelin | 2008-05-15 |
When rebasing or stashing, chances are that you do not care about dirty submodules, since they are not updated by those actions anyway. So ignore the submodules' states. Note: the submodule states -- as committed in the superproject -- will still be stashed and rebased, it is _just_ the state of the submodule in the working tree which is ignored.
