From 69c61c4fa9a4b38eeb611a86102493394cdeb9cf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?SZEDER=20G=C3=A1bor?= Date: Sat, 14 Jun 2008 11:48:00 +0200 Subject: git add: add long equivalents of '-u' and '-f' options MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The option -u stands for --update and it is a good idea to make it clear especially because this is the only mode of operation of "git add" that does something different from "adding". Give longer --force synonym to -f while we are at it as well.
